MEET MEG ALFONSO
A multi-certified dispute resolution professional with an active, dual-state legal background, Meg brings a uniquely diverse, analytical, and deeply empathetic perspective to the mediation table. Active and in good standing with The Florida Bar and establishing active practice in Oklahoma, she is a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator, a certified Florida County Mediator, and a certified Humanz Mediate professional. Having mediated across a broad range of topics—with a heavy emphasis on civil litigation and extensive training in family disputes—Meg stands out for her specialized insights into the field, having recently been selected to present on the intersection of neurobiology and neuropsychology in a mediation context to a professional group of fellow mediators.
Meg operates on the proven philosophy that an innately skilled and competent mediator does not need to be a niche subject-matter expert to facilitate a successful resolution. Instead, when provided with relevant case information, a truly gifted neutral relies on an understanding nature, keen analytical ability, and targeted, intelligent questioning to rapidly command a broad base of working knowledge. By blending sharp precision with genuine empathy, she naturally puts clients at ease, de-escalates high-stakes tension, and ensures all parties feel heard throughout the resolution process.
Meg’s strategic agility and human-centered approach are rooted in an academic foundation focused on counseling frameworks, which she paired with high-level technical precision as an ASCP-certified Phlebotomist and during nearly three years steering business development for the medical tech company Vivos Therapeutics. There, she mastered the art of translating intricate medical device science and complex corporate structures into clear, actionable pathways for clinical professionals.
Outside of resolution sessions, Meg is an outdoors enthusiast, a writer, and an accomplished musician. Having played classical piano for much of her life and flute in local orchestras for over 13 years, her passion for music continues to energize and inform her lifelong dedication to harmony, precision, and active listening at every mediation table. She takes seriously the responsibility and privilege of being invited into your dispute and is confident that she can guide all parties toward a clear, equitable, and lasting resolution.
